Pause Before You Post. Think Before You Type. Share Responsibly. All families and students are invited to our Internet Safety Workshop where you will find out how to stay safe online. This free workshop is Tuesday, January 24, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Pacific Middle School cafeteria.

An outbreak of mumps has developed in King County, mainly in the Auburn area, but the outbreak can easily spread to other schools and areas in King County. Get informed about how to prevent mumps, what the symptoms are, and what state vaccine requirements and exemptions are for schools and students

Did you hear? Highline’s graduation rate has risen for the third year in a row, to nearly 75 percent for the Class of 2016. The official graduation rate of 74.8 percent represents a jump of more than 12 points in two years. The increase comes at a time when standards for graduation are higher than ever and increasing numbers of Highline students are taking challenging, advanced coursework.
We want to shout out a huge "thank you" to our amazing Highline community members who voted to approve the school bond. Thank you, voters! Passing the bond means our district will be able to provide safer schools and room to learn. See the detailed list of projects and next steps.

Parkside students have access to their online learning programs at home!
In partnership with King County Library System, all Highline students now have new online access to valuable resources. This is a separate account from their library cards, with no fines or fees.
District leadership and the Highline Education Association (HEA) have agreed on a calendar for the 2016-17 school year. The calendar will be final after HEA members vote on it in August. At this time, we do not anticipate changes. Our website calendar now reflects our school calendar for next year. A year-at-a-glance calendar is also available online to view and download.
